Second Cleanup

On September 19, 2026 we hosted our second official cleanup. This day was especially important to our Sea the Change team, as it was National Beach Cleanup Day! It was such an honor to host one on this day, and we were so lucky to have so many excited volunteers to participate in this cleanup! It was our second time hitting Nantasket Beach, and while there was still a lot of work to be done in terms of cleaning up the beach, we were able to see the slightest difference in areas we hit our last cleanup. Although, we did still all pick up a lot of trash, but it made us all feel proud to know we prevented pieces of trash from entering the oceanic ecosystem. We also had numerous beach goers come up to volunteers again, saying their thanks for our work to clean the beaches. We hope to get even more volunteers at our next cleanup, and help clean our earth even more next time, the date of which will be announced very soon!
