With a deep-rooted passion for marine conservation and environmental advocacy, Shelby leads our team with a commitment to transparency, education, and lasting impact. Under her leadership, the organization has grown into a vital force for beach preservation in Massachusetts, fostering a sense of stewardship among volunteers of all ages. Our Mission & Why We Started
Sea the Change Initiative was born from a shared love for the South Shore beaches and a growing concern over the plastic tide hitting our shores. Our goal is to grow into a community-driven movement dedicated to preserving the natural beauty and ecological health of the South Shore for future generations through direct action, local education, and persistent advocacy.
